The World & Our Community
Missions
God has placed it on our hearts to work within Creede, CO; the United States; and the world.
The Malueg Family
The Malueg family is currently reaching out to college students at Adams State University in Alamosa, CO. They evangelize and disciple students, hosting discipleship study groups in their home.

Hand in Hand in Africa
Hand in Hand in Africa partners with local leaders in Kenya and Tanzania, equipping and empowering them to evangelize and disciple within their own communities.
The SLV Life Center provides care and support to pregnant mothers and parenting families across the San Luis Valley. Their goal is to promote and preserve the sanctity of human life.
Operation Christmas Child
Creede Baptist Church partners with Samaritan’s Purse to support Operation Christmas Child by filling gift boxes for children in need. Each box is distributed globally alongside a gospel presentation in the recipient’s local language, followed by an opportunity for discipleship training to nurture faith and growth.
Continental Divide Association
Creede Baptist Church participates with other Baptist churches in our region to encourage, support, and further the gospel in our local communities.
Colorado Baptists
The Colorado Baptist Convention provides church support, pastor training, missionary support, and disaster relief in the state of Colorado.
Southern Baptist Convention Cooperative Program
This national organization sends missionaries throughout North America and around the world.
Community
We love our community of Creede, and seek to meet the spiritual and physical needs of our members to the best of our ability. We help provide firewood throughout the winter, and when various needs are presented we seek to meet those if we can. We are just one piece of a generous community that works hard to take care of its people! If you are in need, please give us a call or email and we will connect with you. “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” (Gal 6:2)
Within the Cooperative Program, Creede Baptist Church participates in the three annual designated offerings:
Lottie Moon Offering – This offering is collected in December and specifically supports international missions.
Annie Armstrong Offering – This offering is collected during the Easter season and specifically supports missionaries in North America.
Nicy Murphy Offering – This offering is collected in August and specifically supports the efforts of the Colorado Baptists.
